As an avid traveler from the UK, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Belfrey House in York. the location was truly exceptional, right next to the Minster and surrounded by charming cafes, pubs, and restaurants. Everything within the city walls was just a short 15-minute walk away. The house itself was a delightful mix of old charm and modern amenities. the wonky walls, sloping floors, and tiny staircases added character, while the spacious rooms and lovely sitting room provided a comfortable stay. My family, especially the kids, absolutely loved the house and the city! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a kind gentleman who handed over the keys and a cute hamper with wine, biscuits, and breakfast essentials. the property was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and boasted stunning views of the Cathedral. the high standard was evident throughout. The living room was a cozy retreat, perfect for catching up with loved ones, and the bedrooms were all comfortable. Although the stairs were narrow in places, we managed just fine. the location of the house, overlooking the Minster, was truly unbeatable, with shops and eateries nearby. the combination of historical charm, modern comforts, and prime location made it a perfect choice for exploring the beautiful city of York. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay in the heart of York.
